Participating in lifelong learning demonstrates the commitment to professional excellence and illustrates dedication to serving your clients and employer. An important part of our Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct is maintaining and improving professional competence. To this effect, and as part of the voluntary Continuing Education (CE) Program, CFA Institute recommends that members complete a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education activities, including a minimum of 2 hours in the content areas of Standards, Ethics, and Regulations (SER) each calendar year. During the annual membership renewal process in the spring, members have the ability to indicate participation and attest to completing the minimum recommended hours for the prior calendar year.
From the CFA Society Argentina & Uruguay, we encourage our members to participate in the CE Program by selecting courses of their interest and recording the credits earned in the CFA Institute webpage. In addition, if you believe you have done a course that may apply as part of the CE Program, please contact us and we will walk you through the process to record the hours in the CFA Institute webpage.
